Jayde Mariah Schools, affectionately called Lady Jayde, was diagnosed with acute Megakaryoblastic Leukemia (AMKL), also known as AML M7, a form of Acute Myeloid Leukemia that attacks immature blood cells.

That was a day that changed the lives of everyone who cared for her forever.

Even despite the countless hours of treatment and visits to the doctor, Jayde’s vivacious spirt and enthusiasm for life kept smiles on everyone around her. And it is with that fond memory and love and that we remember when Lady Jayde earned her angel wings in January 2015 at just 2 years old.

Unfortunately there are many who share a similar story, and in memory of Lady Jayde we created JMS to support pediatric cancer research with hopes of one day eradicating it from existence. We chose the slogan “Love is Caring” to symbolize that the Love for Lady Jayde means that we must care for those who are still fighting, and for those who have yet to enter the ring. It is very difficult to watch someone you love so deeply go through the pains of having this disease and to stand by, helpless, while they fight through the treatments that are designed to eventually make them better.

Please visit our page frequently to see what JMS is up to and to partner with us by participating and/or donating, so that every child has the opportunity to mature and grow to reach their full potential.
